I was looking for an alternative wash to the purple shampoo, that did not have the strong chemical smell that the purple shampoos have. I saw this on Santa Tom's show and decided to try it. My wash was unscented, I do shake it a few times prior to use. It lathered nicely without a huge amount of suds. Rinsed out easily and did not leave a smell, my beard felt clean. I use it twice a week to help clean out the stains or dull color in my grey beard. Very happy with my purchase.
I have a fairly long think beard and a little goes a long way with the black gold beard wash. Lathers up great and it’s nice to only have one product that cleans and conditions my beard.
